Marie Marx Strohm is a native of the state of Washington. She
attended Gonzaga University and graduated with honors from Seattle
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She began her diverse
media career as a radio talk show producer for Phoenix radio station
KFYI in 1985. She enjoyed great success as a morning drive radio
personality and news director for 100,000 watt KOOL FM, Phoenix.
Marie found television to be an exciting and challenging natural
next step. She became a host for the national cable home shopping
television show, "Caravan of Values," which catapulted
her to the Phoenix NBC affiliate, KPNX. In addition to producing
news and feature stories for the NBC affiliate, she was a popular
on air restaurant critic and feature reporter for its daily afternoon

Her success at Quorum led her to Motorola, which made Marie an offer
she couldn't refuse. Marie was responsible for writing, producing
and directing a wide variety of technical video projects for many
of the company's divisions worldwide. Producing network quality,
highly articulate and message driven corporate videos for high profile
clients, including the CIA, NSA, FBI and all branches of the military,
on modest budgets were part of her day-to-day responsibilities.
Her many credits include writing, producing and directing an exciting
video for Motorola's Satellite Communications where she documented
the progress of the Iridium program for an audience composed of
members of Iridium's worldwide Board of Directors.

After three years of on air reporting and producing television stories,
Marie became the Director of Public Relations for the Phoenix Symphony.
Over the next three years, she wrote, produced and directed a variety
of radio and television marketing campaigns for one of the largest
arts organizations in the Southwest. She made numerous public appearances
and worked with the executive officers of most of the major corporations
located in Phoenix. She also negotiated rates and electronic media
buys, supervised radio, TV and print interviews for such well known
musicians as Doc Severinsen, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenburg and Placido
Domingo.
In 1993, Marie was recruited by
Quorum International's nationally televised weekly show. She not
only wrote, produced and hosted the show, she also directed it!
The intense production schedule, which took her and her crew to
locations throughout the United States as well as Hong Kong and
China, proved to be an invaluable experience in learning all aspects
of corporate television and video production.
